ELEMENTS
🪨
I. HANDLES
Titanium and Type X paracord: durable, corrosion resistant, and light titanium handle wrapped in a covertly engineered type of paracord — ‘Type X’ — which simultaneously provides full liquid repellency and grip.
Ebony and megalodon skin: carefully crafted ebony handle overlayed in the tough skin of a preserved, off-world megalodon in a twisted style similar to tsukamaki — showing off ornamental, complementing dark tones of ebony and shark.
Titan bone: rare titan bone, near impossible to crack, bought in bulk on an interstellar market, left bare as a formidable signal to any audience.
Synthetic iron and shock twine: as well as being shock absorbent, shock twine adheres to magnetic properties of a perfectly weighted synthetic iron handle, meaning it easily attaches and detaches — and can be customised or used for other purposes.
II. POMMELS
Therapod talon: a claw from a series of unidentified theropod remains found in Messier 82.Â
Rough diamond: a large, valuable rough diamond. Ornamental, and can be used to barter under stressed situations.
Ancient meteorite: a high density meteorite providing the optimal counterweight as well as cosmic fortune to the superstitious.
Nano-honeycomb spider silk: augmented spider silk holds or hangs the dagger in place, with a honeycombed structure increasing both stretch and strength.
III. CHARMS
Bare: no charm has been applied, no cost admitted.
Subtlety: in the light, the dagger is given a hazed, almost invisible effect. Though in the dark, an equally potent mirage makes it overly visible.
Smart: enabled by nanotechnology, the bearer’s movement of the dagger is read and predicted, aiding momentum, flow, and surprise thrusts. To power this technology, strength is slightly drained while in use.Â
Swift: The dagger’s weight and air resistance is reduced, making it swifter in manoeuvre. Impact is slightly reduced as a result.Â
Spirit: the more the dagger is used the greater its spirit grows. Though, this can make the dagger unpredictable at times — as if it has a mind of its own.
IV. BLADES
Tamahagane:Â the finest steel made in the Japanese method. Versatile, two sharp edges, and reliable.
Jagged extragalactic rock: extragalactic rock procured for its naturally occurring lethal jagged edges — the use of such rock can cause harm to even those who choose to forge with it.
3D-printed composite:Â thin, clinical, and shatterproof engineered filament. Stiletto design with one top stiletto point which runs a quarter down. Can pierce the toughest of barriers.
Elven crystal: crafted with elegance and imbued with complex properties, this crystal was shaped to cut more than a foe.
Dragon tooth: a powerful dragon tooth sculpted under fire and ice.
V. GUARDS
Bare:Â guardless and stealthy.
Downward steel cross-guard: downward sloping guard made out of fine steel.
Upward steel cross-guard: upward sloping guard made out of fine steel.
Twisted steel cross-guard: twisted opposing guard made out of fine steel.
Coated iron d-guard: augmented iron coating forming a protective d-guard.

VI. POINTS
Bare: no substance has been applied, keeping the dagger’s integrity.
Meta-poison: meta-poison causes an immobile, out of body experience — causing a sheer perspective of self. A minority can instead get a very mobile burst of adrenaline.
Green goo: once positioned, the goo spreads through the host, slowly shutting down functional systems (the charm is mostly operational in biomechatronic environments, otherwise the substance can slightly cushion point sharpness).
Truth serum: truth serum is an efficient accompaniment to a dagger, but can also stimulate uncontrolled aggression in an opponent.
